You will take end-to-end product responsibility for a software product developed by an autonomous team of AI agents. You will be the key human point of contact for product requirements, prioritisation, management, quality assurance and acceptance. Your aim is to lead the AI agents so that they can independently develop high-quality, tested and production-ready software based on business requirements.
Your tasks
Requirements Engineering & Specification
- Capture, analyse and prioritise technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create precise, structured and AI-processable specifications.
- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and test cases.
- Ensure requirements are complete, unambiguous and testable.
AI Agent Team Management
- Delegate development tasks to specialised AI agents.
- Design agent workflows and handover processes.
- Monitor autonomous development processes and intervene in the event of problems.
- Continuously improve agent capabilities, work instructions and development processes.
Product Backlog & Delivery Management
- Take responsibility for the product backlog and product roadmap.
- Define development goals, priorities and dependencies.
- Monitor the progress and results of the AI development team.
- Remove obstacles and make necessary decisions.
AI-driven Quality Assurance
- Define test strategies and measurable quality criteria.
- Manage automated tests and independent QA agents.
- Evaluate test coverage, regression results and quality evidence.
- Validate functional, security-related and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct technical acceptance of product increments and approve releases.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Analyse quality, lead times, error rates and development costs.
- Systematically optimise agent processes.
- Establish binding development standards and ‘Definition of Done’ criteria.
- Ensure security policies, authorisations and human approval processes are in place.
Your profile
- Several years’ experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager or Software Engineer with product responsibility.
- A sound understanding of software architecture, APIs, software development and test automation.
- Excellent skills in requirements engineering and in formulating precise acceptance criteria.
- Practical experience with AI coding agents, agent orchestration and autonomous development workflows.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated software and test results.
- Experience with agile methodologies, Scrum, backlog management and product-oriented software development.
- Strong analytical thinking and a keen understanding of software quality, security and product value.
