As a UX/UI designer, you will support our team in expanding and further developing our B2B SaaS product. Together with our UX lead, you will work on designing intuitive user experiences, expanding our design system, and growing our component library. You can expect a wide range of tasks in an international environment. You bring experience, curiosity, openness, and a passion for good design, and we offer you the space to develop further.
Your tasks at BAYARD
- You will design and optimize user interfaces for our SaaS web application – from complex features to interactive components.
- You will contribute to the development of the design system, including the component library and design documentation.
- You will accompany the entire UX & UI design process – from UX research and wireframes to final pixel-perfect UI designs.
- You will apply common research methods to identify user needs and evaluate your concepts, e.g., interviews, user testing, and feedback sessions.
- You will present and discuss your concepts independently, gather feedback, and develop them further together – whether in a team or with relevant stakeholders.
- You will work closely with product management and development to bring your design solutions to life.
- You will actively participate in shaping projects and contribute your own ideas.
Your talent
- You have a degree or vocational training in UX/UI design, interaction design, communication design, or a comparable field.
- You have at least 2 years of practical experience in digital projects, including the design of design systems and the implementation of UX processes.
- You are well versed in Figma (component structure, auto-layout, variables, etc.).
- You have basic knowledge of UX research and human-centered design.
- You are familiar with common design methods such as flowcharts, wireframing, prototyping, design thinking, and journey mapping.
- You work independently and in a structured manner.
- You make design decisions based on well-thought-out concepts and can explain them coherently both internally and externally.
- You have very good written and spoken German and English skills— you will be working in a multilingual environment.
- If you already have experience in the SaaS environment or a basic technical understanding, that is a plus.
