As one of the largest retail companies in Switzerland, Migros has many private label products in addition to numerous branded products. This results in the challenge of integrating these different content providers into their own system and unifying the data management.
Project
The aim is to connect the GS1 GDSN data pool to the Informatica P360 via the ContentHub b-integrated, to standardize the data model and technical interface to Migros. A functional analysis of GDSN requirements is carried out, and mapping is implemented for the Migros QIM system.

Results
The tight schedule was met, and since the end of March 2020, Migros has been able to regularly import article data from the GS1 GDSN into the Migros QIM system via the REST web service interface of the ContentHub b-integrated. The ContentHub b-integrated also enables the Migros PIM support team to conduct web-based research on article data from all connected content providers. The received article data is indexed so that even powerful and efficient queries can be performed on the extensive data set.
